AutoTrader.ca Live-data Scraper

An Apify actor that scrapes vehicle listings from AutoTrader.ca based on configurable search filters. It outputs structured data and can integrate with Discord for notifications.

How to Use

Configure the actor's input to define your search. Only the location fields are strictly required.

Input Configuration

1. Define Search Area (Required)
* Postal Code: A Canadian postal code (e.g., T6V0M9).
* Province: The two-letter province abbreviation (e.g., AB, ON).
* Distance (km): Search radius around the postal code.

2. Specify Vehicle Details (Optional)
* Make / Model / Trim: Vehicle manufacturer, model, or trim level.
* Year Range: Minimum and/or maximum model year.
* Price Range: Minimum and/or maximum price.
* Kilometer Range: Minimum and/or maximum kilometers.
* Keywords: Terms to match in the listing description.
* Other available filters (Body Type, Color, etc.) can be set via the input schema.

3. Additional Filters & Settings (Optional)
* Condition / Seller Type: Filter by "New/Used" or "Dealer/Private".
* Sort By: Order results (e.g., Newest First, Price Low to High).
* Must Have Flags: Require listings to have photos, a price, or a free CARFAX report.
* Maximum pages: Limit the number of result pages to scrape.
* Proxy configuration: Use proxy for larger or repeated searches.

4. Run
Set your parameters and start the actor. Results populate in the Dataset tab.

Input: The configuration detailed above, provided as a JSON object via the Apify platform or API.

Output: Each scraped listing includes the following fields in the dataset:
* Vehicle Title (e.g., "2022 Ford F-150 Lariat")
* Price
* Kilometers
* Image URL
* Listing URL (direct link to AutoTrader.ca)
* Internal ID
* Page Number
